Services AvailableThe GCC SchoolsOut Network currently provides the following services. These services will be actively monitored by the Tutor Team and any suggested additions can/will be added when necessary.Email - The Global Address Book will provide email addresses to all pupils and Staff in all Glasgow schools. All external mail is protected and filtered using content and virus scanning. Internet Access - Users will have a secure connection to the GSN to ensure content filtered access to the internet and Intranet allowing them access to all appropriate learning resources. Learn Premium - The City-wide licence for Learn Premium provides for home access to all of the learning resources. This is a web based, learning objects resource, covering all major subject areas. Individual lessons and activities can be assigned to pupils. Some of the work may be corrected on-line providing instant feedback to the learner, whilst other work may require to be sent to the teacher for correction and subsequent feedback. Plato Learning Software - Plato is an Integrated Learning system aimed at targeting improvement in Numeracy and Literacy. An individual learning path can be assigned to a pupil and progress monitored and evaluated through a sophisticated management system.
